Partner Terms

Version 2026-08 · Effective 28 August 2026

These Partner Terms govern participation by approved businesses supplying products through the LAWLiS marketplace. Acceptance is versioned and recorded as part of Partner onboarding.

1. Partner status and verification

Partners are independent businesses and are not employees or agents of LAWLiS. Trading access is subject to LAWLiS verification and approval. Partners must keep business, contact and verification information accurate and current.

2. Catalogue and offers

LAWLiS maintains the canonical marketplace catalogue. Partners may submit products and create approved offers against catalogue products. A Partner must provide accurate product, fitment, stock, condition and offer information and must not list prohibited, counterfeit, unsafe or unlawful goods.

3. Pricing and marketplace economics

LAWLiS applies the marketplace pricing and margin rules configured in the platform. Shipping is accounted for separately from LAWLiS product margin. Partners must not manipulate prices, inventory or transactions to circumvent marketplace rules.

4. Inventory and fulfilment

Partners are responsible for maintaining accurate inventory and fulfilling accepted orders promptly. Under the current model, Partners arrange their own courier or delivery service and must update shipment, tracking, exception and delivery information through LAWLiS.

5. Returns and consumer obligations

Partners must cooperate with LAWLiS return and dispute workflows, review Rider evidence fairly and comply with applicable consumer rights. LAWLiS may determine and record marketplace settlement outcomes. Partner refund liability may include product and shipping amounts according to the transaction, reason and applicable rules.

6. Payouts and records

LAWLiS records Partner proceeds, liabilities and payout history through the marketplace. Production payout timing and payment-provider mechanics will be confirmed with the live payment implementation. Partners are responsible for their own tax, accounting and business obligations.

7. Data and confidentiality

Partner access to Rider information is limited to legitimate marketplace purposes such as fulfilment, delivery, returns and support. Rider information may not be harvested, sold or used for unrelated marketing without an independent lawful basis.

8. Marketplace integrity

Partners must not create false transactions or reviews, misuse Rider information, bypass LAWLiS to evade marketplace obligations, interfere with platform security, or engage in fraudulent, abusive or unlawful conduct.

9. Suspension and termination

LAWLiS may suspend or restrict Partner trading where reasonably necessary for verification failures, marketplace risk, security, fraud, material breach or legal compliance. Existing Rider orders, returns, refunds and lawful record-retention duties survive suspension where necessary.

10. Changes and legal review

Material changes may be issued as a new Partner Terms version and may require renewed acceptance. These Terms are intended for operation under South African law and require final legal review before launch.

Pre-launch legal draft: Final Partner commercial terms, registered business details and dispute provisions must be confirmed before public launch.
